Ted Glynn, M.D. is the Vice President of Medical Education at Sparrow Hospital. He is also an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine. He attended Michigan State University and the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Glynn completed his emergency medicine residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.
Dr. Glynn has served in numerous roles within graduate medical education over the last 15 years, including Emergency Medicine Residency Director at Sparrow from 2008 – 2013. He has recently been elected to the American Board of Emergency Medicine as an Item Writer for the board-certification examination.
Dr. Glynn is the Founder and President of EMeRG (Emergency Medicine Research Group), a 501(c)(3) organization specializing in translational research and education. Dr. Glynn has been involved in numerous investigator-initiated as well as industry-sponsored clinical trials assessing novel diagnostic biomarkers of cerebrovascular and myocardial ischemia.
