The Sparrow/MSU Center for Innovation and Research (CFIR) is interested in funding strong research teams to develop and submit research proposals to federal funding agencies, such as NIH, NSF, AHRQ, RJW, etc. The proposals must address implementation science research projects that will be implemented within Sparrow Health System.

The Sparrow/MSU Center for Innovation and Research (CFIR) is interested in receiving pilot funding proposals for research projects that address implementation science and research within Sparrow Health System.
Deadline: June 1, 2017 by 5:00pm
Proposals may be either Research (typically $50,000) or Translation (typically $25,000) projects.
Concept papers can be 1-2 pages long. The Director will review the information and provide feedback on whether the project is suitable for CFIR. They can be mailed to Sharon.Baer@Sparrow.org

*Prior to finalization of the budget,You should make contact with Nancy Miller, Director of Research, Sparrow Clinical Research Institute (SCRI). She can assist with activities that occur at Sparrow or involving Sparrow medical records that may or may not have related budget issues. Please allow two weeks of lead time for processing. Nancy.Miller@Sparrow.org It is requested that you fill out the New Study Checklist to include in your correspondence to SCRI.
